We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Maintain established standards to provide optimal diagnostic results and patient care.
- Assist physicians in cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures.
- Operate ionizing radiation-producing equipment, patient monitoring equipment, and other related equipment used in such procedures.
- Provide service to adult, older adult, and frail elderly patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology required.
- One to two years of experience in appropriate technical skills in general diagnostic radiology required.
- One year of dedicated CV experience preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required.
- Additional American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CV certification preferred.
- CPR certification and re-certification on an annual basis through the American Heart Association required.
