Job Summary:

The Post-Production & Visual Effects Instructor will teach courses in post-production and visual effects, including editing, color correction, and visual effects. The instructor will be responsible for developing and teaching course materials, assessing student learning, and providing feedback to students. The instructor will also be responsible for staying current with industry developments and best practices in post-production and visual effects.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in post-production and visual effects, including editing, color correction, and visual effects
  • Develop and teach course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in post-production and visual effects
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience in post-production and visual effects
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience teaching post-production and visual effects courses
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and development
  • Experience with online course delivery
