We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our team at Communicare. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide evidence-based services to individuals in need of mental health support.
Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Services: Deliver evidence-based services while maintaining fidelity to promote continuity of care for the individual served.
- Medication Management: Arrange for medication evaluation, management, and monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Clinical Supervision: Appropriately utilize and accept clinical supervision to provide the highest quality mental health care possible.
- Caseload Management: Maintain an active caseload as directed by the supervisor, ensuring timely services and documentation.
- Compliance and Documentation: Meet all Communicare, Department of Mental Health, and Division of Medicaid standards and policies regarding patient care and documentation.
- Productivity and Efficiency: Work efficiently in Communicare's Electronic Health Record system, meeting productivity requirements and providing timely services.
- Training and Development: Attend and conduct meetings and training as assigned, successfully completing training in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and other relevant areas.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in collecting and maintaining data as needed or required, serving as a member of Communicare's treatment team.
- Rapid Response and Intakes: Provide rapid response crisis services, intakes, and therapy services as directed by the supervisor.
- Family and Community Involvement: Assess home/family situations as it relates to the client's needs, working directly with the Family to ensure participation in treatment.
- Collaboration and Referral Development: Participate in conferences and meetings with referral sources or other outside agencies pertinent to the individual treatment plan, establishing and maintaining referral bases within the community.
- Education and Licensure: Master's Degree and license or certification in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or other related behavioral health care fields preferred.
- Background Check and Drug Screen: Pass a Communicare background check and drug screen, as Communicare is a drug-free workplace.
- Ability to Perform Job Responsibilities: Ability to perform the responsibilities of the position as described above.
- Reliability and Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the catchment area and to trainings and meetings in other locations outside the catchment area as needed.
Compensation: Hourly Wage
