Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Shipping and Inventory Specialist to join our team at AXNY Group. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for managing shipping schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination
    • Oversee daily shipment schedules, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, and carriers to schedule shipments and track them to completion.
    • Verify order accuracy, inspect shipments for quality and accuracy, and ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor stock levels in collaboration with the warehouse team to maintain accurate inventory.
    • Work with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient packing, labeling, and inventory management.
    • Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with procurement to maintain stock levels.
  • Carrier Communication
    • Manage relationships with shipping carriers and vendors, coordinating shipment pickups and deliveries.
    • Communicate shipping details, requirements, and updates with carriers to prevent delays or errors.
    • Troubleshoot carrier-related issues, including late deliveries, damaged goods, and rate discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., ShipStation, SAP, ERP systems) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to resolve logistical issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year.
