United Engineers and Constructors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervising Engineer to lead our team in the design and construction of conventional generation and industrial projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on supervisory roles and team leadership. They will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of electrical systems, including equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and a Professional Engineering (PE) License in any state in the U.S. with the ability to obtain licensure in other states by comity. They will also have at least 15 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.

The Electrical Supervising Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of electrical engineers in the design and implementation of electrical systems
  • Overseeing the development of equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis
  • Reviewing and approving design documents, including single-line diagrams and panel schedules, schematic and wiring diagrams, electrical physical and raceway drawings, lighting and grounding plans, and cable schedules
  • Providing technical leadership to engineers and designers for the electrical discipline
  • Supporting multiple projects and coordinating activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and other members of the project teams

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent written and oral skills, able to interface with other members of the project team, including other disciplines, clients, contractors, and vendors. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams.
