Electrical Discipline Lead

United Engineers & Constructors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervising Engineer to lead our team in the design and construction of conventional generation and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of electrical engineers in the design and configuration control process for electrical systems.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and approval of design documents, including equipment specifications, calculations, and analysis.
- Supervise the preparation of electrical design documents, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and wiring diagrams.
- Provide technical leadership to engineers and designers for the electrical discipline.
- Coordinate activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and other project team members.
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited 4-year university.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in any state in the U.S. with ability to obtain licensure in other states by comity.
- 15 years overall experience in the design of electrical systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with standard plant design processes and experience preparing engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with IEEE, EPRI, industry codes and standards.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise using Microsoft Office products.
- Must be a Citizen of the U.S. or Canada and able to obtain unescorted access to a U.S. Nuclear Power Plant.
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- 15 years of conventional generation or industrial design experience.
