The Role: Grill Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our team at CAVA - Texas. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, creating exceptional experiences for our guests, and contributing to the success of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, following our recipes and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and team members.
  • Restock cook stations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead frequently.
  • Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment.
  • Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.
  • Must be comfortable working near open flames.
  • May be required to work in tight spaces.
  • Must maintain near constant communication with multiple people.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is required.
  • Must be able to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally.
  • Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • May be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions.
