JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Front Office Supervisor is accountable for overseeing all operations related to Front Office, Reservations, and Guest Services. This role includes ensuring customer satisfaction, managing financial performance, and fostering positive team member relations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Hourly Rate: $16/hr., paid biweekly
  • Comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts at numerous properties.

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-Time: 30-40 hours per week based on business needs
  • Days: Varying from Saturday to Friday
  • Start times: Fluctuate based on scheduling

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in supervising the training of Front Office, Reservations, and Guest Service team members, motivating them to perform effectively.
  • Help maintain operating and training manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with all systems, control policies, and procedures.
  • Support Human Resource functions including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed.
  • Foster open communication within the department and with other departments.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service.
  • Delegate tasks among staff equitably.
  • Assist in covering front desk shifts when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pursuing a college degree.
  • One year of experience in a hotel setting preferred.
  • Pleasant phone demeanor.
  • Familiarity with Front Office computer systems and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Level-headed and patient demeanor.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented but capable of independent work.
  • Strong computer skills.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $16.00/Hr. - $18.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
