Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Biogenesys. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Center Nurse Executive/Infection Preventionist/Designee, you will provide efficient and effective nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • You will perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services, including specimen collection for POC testing, where scope of practice and state and federal regulations permit.
  • You will also be responsible for performing other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • You must have knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and providing related bedside patient care services, as permitted by state regulation.
  • You must have knowledge of basic medical asepsis and standard precautions.
  • You must be willing to work rotating shifts and different units.
  • You must be able to contribute to a patient-centered environment.

Education and Certification:

  • You must have successfully completed a state-approved certified nursing assistant program.
  • A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred.
  • You must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors at the work site.
  • You must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.
  • You must attend a minimum of 12 hours continuing education programs provided by the center in order to maintain certification.

Work Environment:

  • You will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing care to patients in a variety of settings.
  • You will be required to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
