Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patients and families to understand their condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care.
  • Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and calling for assistance from healthcare support personnel.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN NJ License
  • 4+ years of Acute care experience or outpatient Family Practice
  • BLS, ACLS preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining aseptic technique and providing excellent safe patient care.
