- Assess the impact of service-connected disabilities on veterans' functional abilities and quality of life.
- Provide education and counseling to veterans and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and specialists to ensure timely and appropriate care for veterans.
Qualifications:
- Master's in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and prescriptive authority in the state of practice.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally recognized certifying body.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care or related specialty.
Work Environment:The Contract Nurse Practitioner will work independently on-site at WellCare Holistics Health Center, following VA protocols and guidelines. Opportunities for additional contract assignments and professional development may be available based on performance and organizational needs.
