Applied Behavioral Services is seeking a qualified Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work closely with primary behavior technicians to provide education and support to children with autism spectrum disorder or related disorders in a 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or small group setting.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and maintain instructional areas to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
- Prepare and maintain reinforcement and necessary materials to support student learning.
- Deliver instruction following established procedures and protocols, and based on feedback from supervisors.
- Collect and analyze data accurately to inform instruction and support student progress.
- Maintain programming materials for all students, including IEP/Treatment plans and progress reports.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure students meet their goals.
- Complete quarterly IEP progress reports as assigned by the supervisor.
- Conduct reinforcer assessments and deliver reinforcement following established principles.
- Implement behavior support plans to support student behavior and progress.
- Identify areas where interventions are needed and complete troubleshooting forms as necessary.
