Position Overview:
The Trade Analyst plays a crucial role in addressing pricing discrepancies on warehouse and DSD invoices, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions. This position also involves managing and maintaining the promotional events calendar for designated customers, ensuring accurate setup and prompt approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily updates on pricing discrepancies in SAP for warehouse orders and Envision for DSD tickets.
  • Conduct daily pricing analysis for EDI warehouse orders and DSD/DEX pricing to resolve discrepancies and prevent customer deductions.
  • Act as a liaison to facilitate timely resolutions of pricing issues with various teams.
  • Maintain backend reporting for tracking results and identifying process improvements.
  • Manage the static calendar, including event setup, approvals, and necessary updates.
  • Monitor event approvals for assigned regions and communicate with field sales regarding these approvals.
  • Conduct internal audits of the deduction settlement process to ensure compliance with established requirements.
  • Support the development of Power BI reports as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Complexity:

  • Requires strong proficiency in systems such as SAP, trade management, and Excel to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Demands an analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail for accurate invoicing.
  • Involves effective communication with sales and other functional areas to achieve results.
  • Encourages creative thinking to streamline processes and minimize workload.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Preferred Education: College Degree
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales support, SAP, or pricing management.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data management capabilities.
  • Experience in data analysis and summarizing findings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting to management.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and SAP is a plus.

Working Conditions:
This position is primarily office-based, requiring effective communication with the sales team via email and phone.
