Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified vendors for pet food ingredients and raw materials.

  • Negotiate favorable pricing and contract terms with vendors.
  • Manage the sourcing budget and track expenditures effectively.
  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry best practices in pet food sourcing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of sourced materials.
  • Implement and maintain processes that comply with all relevant regulatory and safety standards for pet food production.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the pet food industry.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
