SAS Platform Engineer Job Description

At Randstad Digital, we're seeking a highly skilled SAS Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions, reporting, programs, models, and dashboards using SAS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop solutions, reporting, programs, models, and dashboards using SAS platforms
  • Collaborate with infrastructure support teams, risk, business, data scientists, and modelers for solutions delivery
  • Review requirements, compliance, data, clinical studies/trials, vulnerabilities, project plans, stability, system architecture, hardware and software problems, engineering
  • Follow SDLC, troubleshoot, deploy releases of vendor software, design platform security, perform platform capacity planning, establish best practices and guidelines, translate customer's business needs to solutions
  • Maintain documentation and specifications, recommend systems modifications, formulate test plans
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or related quantitative or scientific field
  • 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation
  • At least one (1) year of experience developing reporting, programs, models, and dashboards; reviewing requirements, data, clinical studies/trials, security, systems modifications; working with SDLC; troubleshooting; performing capacity planning; using SAS, Unix, Linux
