Job Title: Postpartum Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Postpartum Nursing Specialist to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in postpartum care. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work effectively with the healthcare team, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A valid Washington state nursing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a RN in a postpartum setting.
  • Certification in Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
