Job Title: Senior Manager, Product Management

At Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Product Management to lead our marketing, product launch, and forecasting efforts for the generics commercial team.

This role will be responsible for generating sales analytics, product management, and portfolio analysis to support the Generics Retail business. The Senior Manager will work closely with the supply chain, manufacturing, sales team, and internal pricing and contracts teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex data on generic pharmaceutical product supplies, demand, customer demographics, and pricing to evaluate market dynamics and inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive product growth, achieve revenue, profit, and market share goals, and provide input to supply chain for sales planning.
  • Set marketing objectives, strategies, and performance targets for products, track performance metrics, and recommend remedial actions to optimize business outcomes.
  • Manage a portfolio of 100+ molecules and 400+ SKUs at customer and product levels, forecasting, tracking new awards, and managing wins and losses.
  • Develop and maintain necessary reporting to support product and customer-level forecasting and allocation, and assist in the development of sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze internal supply schedules versus forecasts and ensure the supply team provides requested products on time and in the required volumes to support the business.
  • Provide proactive and in-depth financial analysis of product or market-specific business activity for new product launches, and create monthly IQVIA data analysis and reports for the sales team and senior management.
  • Monitor market share at the product level based on competition, pricing utilization, costs, and work with the sales team and pricing team to evaluate recommendations for forecast adjustments.
  • Prepare, deliver, and present complex data analysis in PowerPoint and Excel to summarize key metrics, including Sun's and competitors' market share, position, sales, and other key performance indicators.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to retrieve and prepare various data sources, such as direct customer sales, indirect distributor sales, and other adjustments, for purposes of forecasting, sales planning, and budgeting.
  • Complete ad-hoc analyses and projects as requested by management, review and address interdepartmental requests for product and marketing information, and work closely with the Finance and Pricing team to ensure all discounts and rebates are accurately captured and accounted for in SAP pre- and post-closing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 4-5 years of experience; an MBA is preferred.
  • GENERIC pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, are necessary to understand and manipulate large amounts of spreadsheet data.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities are essential.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships, foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration, and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel in the company.
  • Understanding of market trends, customer needs, financial data, and competitive intelligence is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
