Heavy Equipment Technician

PD Systems is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for analyzing malfunctions and repairing and rebuilding power equipment such as cranes, power shovels, and bulldozers.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze malfunctions and repair and rebuild power equipment
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges
- Replace defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions
- Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency
- Weld broken parts and structural members
- Direct workers engaged in cleaning parts and assisting with assembly and disassembly of equipment
- Repair, adjust, and maintain mining machinery
A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is required for this position within 6 months of hire. PD Systems is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
