Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center, and the Imaging Department.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Trophon equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations and document the process according to policy.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure that all necessary images are obtained to provide the radiologist with the information needed.
- Complete and concise clinical notes to assist the radiologist in their evaluation.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required.
- One year of imaging experience.
- Prefer specific experience and training in Ultrasound.
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Current BLS certification.
- Required to take call/standby in Ultrasound department and for NNMC as needed.
