Position: Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer

Job Overview:
- Oversee the daily operational management of cloud infrastructures (Linux & Windows) deployed on AWS.
- Design, implement, and test Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Manage daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain related systems.
- Analyze the existing application infrastructure and document best practices and strategies for application deployment and infrastructure upkeep. Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Conduct capacity planning by evaluating the status through cloud monitoring tools and propose optimal resource strategies.
- Develop and implement monitoring techniques to ensure proactive management of applications and systems.
- Continuously improve automation and documentation processes, while mentoring peers on infrastructure automation best practices to promote adoption.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
- Proficient in AWS; experience with Azure and/or GCP is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in deploying and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
- Proficient in scripting languages (bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, VPC, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch, ElastiCache, and Redis.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and best practices.
- Experience with both Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
- Familiarity with Docker, GitLab, HashiCorp Vault, and deploying applications on AWS.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, and Grafana.
- Strong foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering, including Unix/Linux networking, storage, and monitoring stacks.
- Applied skills in server upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Good understanding of cloud billing, dashboards, and resource utilization.

- Candidates must comply with current vaccination requirements as per state and federal mandates.
