Job Title: Senior.NET Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior.NET Software Engineer to join our team at M3, a leading provider of back-office hosted software solutions for the Hospitality Industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing dynamic enterprise-class software applications, mentoring and assisting team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify end-user requirements and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient, elegant, and quality code based on requirements.
  • Debug, Test, and Deploy applications.
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing applications.
  • Collaborate with team to identify end-user requirements and technical specifications.
  • Direct the team in making the right design decisions with focus on performance, scalability, extensibility, quality, security, and ease of maintenance.
  • Develop technical documents to guide future development projects.
  • Experience with Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a directly related position required.
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree is required. Strong preference for the completion of a major in IT, MIS, or Computer Science; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong written and verbal skills in English and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to build and maintain positive business relationships with co-workers and other business contacts.
  • 2 years' experience working with REST APIs.
  • 5 years minimum experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • 1-year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in the office regularly, or pivot to working at home should emergency situations arise.
  • Ability to attend work per assigned schedule and attend meetings with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 25 lbs.
