Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at CorrectHealth, LLC, you will play a vital role in the clinical aspect of patient care. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team and law enforcement to provide high-quality care to inmates. Your duties will be performed under the supervision of a Paramedic, LPN, RN, HSA/HSC, Midlevel Provider, and/or Physician, in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the clinical aspect of patient care with the healthcare team and law enforcement.
  • Perform duties under the supervision of a Paramedic, LPN, RN, HSA/HSC, Midlevel Provider, and/or Physician.
  • Provide care to the inmate population and respond to needs within the correctional environment.
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Medical Assistant certificate or diploma, military documentation from an approved program, or current EMT certification, CNA certification, PCT, or proof of active enrollment in an approved school of nursing.
