Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Loan Administrator to join our team at Kennebec Savings Bank. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to commercial lenders, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documents, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Documentation Support: Assist commercial lenders in setting up closings, obtaining and organizing loan documents and files, and ensuring that all documents are received, signed, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Commercial Portfolio Loan Administration: Work with commercial lenders to ensure that all credit files and legal files are complete and maintained in good order, and follow up with customers on past due financial statements and documentation deficiencies.
  • Customer Support/Research: Provide administrative support to commercial banking officers, including filing, advancing funds, processing loan payments, and responding to customer inquiries.
Requirements
  • Education/Experience: High school graduate, college degree preferred; 2-4 years of relevant experience in banking, with experience in commercial lending preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to lift files and documents of approximately 20 pounds.
