Job Summary: As a Dental Hygiene Specialist, you will play a vital role in our patient care team, responsible for performing dental cleanings, conducting oral health assessments, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships with patients will be essential in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our office.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments and report findings to the surgeon
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Develop and implement personalized oral hygiene plans for patients
  • Assist the surgeon during exams and procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental practices and technologies
Requirements:
  • Valid Dental Hygienist license
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with patients of all ages
  • Proficiency in dental software systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
