Seasonal Sales Associate

Job Summary
The Seasonal Sales Associate plays a vital role in supporting the success of Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and merchandising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Accurately and efficiently operate the register, ensuring seamless transactions and excellent customer service.
- Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements, enabling customers to make informed purchasing decisions and supporting the company's sales goals.
- Maintain a neat and organized front-end work area, adhering to company standards and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, contributing to a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.
- Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric approach.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store, adhering to company standards and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively and preserve confidentiality of information.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities, working within strict timeframes and deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, with a positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and Associates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally, see, hear, and speak regularly, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
