About the Role

Creekside Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our team. As a member of our dietary department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily functions of the Dietary Department, maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all resident meals.
  • Prepare and portion food items to meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Set up meal trays and deliver meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking food and supply deliveries.
  • Wash and store all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, as well as sweep and mop floors and other assigned areas.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care, ensuring resident rights and privacy are protected at all times.
  • Ensure the dietary work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Understanding of safe dietary procedures and the geriatric community.
  • Willingness to work for the best interest of the residents and facility.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and partner with other departments.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Some dietary experience preferred.
