Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in DevOps and DevSecOps practices, particularly within AWS GovCloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust front-end and back-end solutions using JavaScript technologies such as Feathers and EmberJS.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure software solutions that can deploy to AWS/AWS GovCloud and self-hosted container-based environments.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust automated testing and deployment practices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security across cloud environments.
Requirements
  • Legally able to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience (6+ years) as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS offerings (ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, Cognito, ELB, SNS, SES, Elasticache).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudTrail and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of networking principles, including VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing in AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • GA or VA-based candidates are strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with enterprise software applications or complex systems.
  • Prior experience or interest in the aerospace and defense industry is a plus.
  • Prior U.S. Air Force service is a plus.
  • A former aircraft maintainer is a big plus.
  • Previous experience in a government or defense contracting environment is a plus.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent.
