**Job Summary**

At CommonSpirit Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As a Patient Services Associate II, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and vendors, providing timely and accurate communication.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and vendors via phone, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Collect and update demographics and insurance information, verifying health plan eligibility and scheduling appointments using an electronic practice management system.
  • Take complete and accurate messages, utilizing an electronic practice management system.
  • Perform clerical duties, including referrals, authorizations, pre-registration, and patient preparation, to support daily clinic operations and quality patient care initiatives.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • One year experience as a PSA I or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is required.
  • Medical terminology competency completion or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in GE with completed competency.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Keyboarding skills and the ability to utilize computer equipment and software are required.
