As a Cook I, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our vision of serving up healthy, sustainable food that nourishes both body and soul.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and development, including researching new recipes and ingredients
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, from soups and salads to entrees and desserts
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard of quality and presentation
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
