Magnificus Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Deployment Health screenings, assess the results, treat patients, and refer patients for further treatment as appropriate.
- Follow established protocols for referrals and admissions to the Medical Treatment Facility.
- Provide comprehensive health care for all ages and families in their Medical Home Port Team, utilizing evidenced-based clinical practice guidelines and engaging patients actively in their health care.
- Provide health maintenance and preventive services to individual patients as recommended by accepted guidelines.
- Engage in proactive population-based health management, providing regular surveillance to patient's need for preventive services and management of chronic disease.
- Precept students (residents, NP, PA, IDC etc.) and new staff members as directed.
Requirements:
- Possess a Master's, Post-master's or Doctorate degree from an advanced practice nursing program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), formerly known as the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Possess current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the preceding two (2) years as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or family practice setting.
- Possess current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Nurse in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
