SUMMARY:

This position is integral to the Marketing and Communications department, fostering collaboration across all divisions within CCM Health. The role is dedicated to supporting the mission of CCM Health by leading, coordinating, and crafting applications for various funding sources, including state and federal grants, as well as private donations. This includes researching and drafting compelling grant proposals aimed at securing financial support from governmental bodies and philanthropic organizations.

Additionally, this role encompasses the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives, working to secure and manage essential contributions from our community supporters. The coordinator plays a vital role in identifying, recognizing, processing, and tracking donations, while also assisting CCM Health with its fundraising, stewardship, and reporting activities related to employee contributions, annual campaigns, major gifts, fundraising events, and capital projects.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing and Communications, along with other leadership at CCM Health, to provide project support and direction, identify funding opportunities, and perform data analysis and presentations as required.

Conduct ongoing assessments to identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities, such as service line enhancement, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.

Oversee all aspects of grant application processes for CCM Health from initiation to completion.

  • Compose high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, including narratives, applications, and supplementary documentation.
  • Maintain foundational proposals across all program areas.
  • Collaborate with leadership to compile financial data and statistics.
  • Manage the proposal submission workflow to ensure timely delivery of all necessary materials.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective funders.
  • Follow up on the status of submitted proposals.
  • Conduct research to identify, cultivate, and solicit new grant opportunities.
  • Monitor various grant resources for potential funding opportunities.
  • Track deadlines and prepare comprehensive grant reports.
  • Work with departmental staff to regularly gather data on program outcomes and report back to funders.
  • Maintain organized grant files.
  • Formulate an annual grants strategy and proposal timeline based on fundraising objectives.

Coordinate fundraising efforts for CCM Health from conception to execution.

  • Research potential donors.
  • Craft a compelling fundraising narrative that resonates with prospective donors.
  • Identify and reach out to potential contributors.
  • Utilize online platforms to facilitate donations.
  • Organize campaigns or events aimed at soliciting contributions.
  • Keep detailed records of donor information.
  • Assess the effectiveness of previous fundraising activities.
  • Train volunteers on fundraising protocols and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal reporting obligations.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in grant writing and philanthropy is preferred.
