Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Security and Life Safety Technician to join our team at Illinois Alarm Service, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and program new alarm and security systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems to prevent equipment failure and ensure system reliability.
  • Monitor inventory of truck stock to ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as ability to handle physical workload.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • At least two years of experience installing and servicing security and life safety systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm certification.
  • Bosch certification.
  • Kidde/Edwards certification.
