Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Professional Coder to join our esteemed organization. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of various patient medical records, ensuring the precision of coding and adherence to relevant medical and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect discrepancies, potential quality of care issues, and billing concerns.
  • Investigate, analyze, and propose corrective actions to address discrepancies and avert future coding mistakes.
  • Recognize reportable elements, complications, and additional procedures.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or in the process of obtaining one is essential.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in coding cardiology and vascular procedures is required; experience in Orthopedics or Podiatry is highly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills are necessary.
