Donations Attendant

Join our team at The Salvation Army as a Donations Attendant, where you will play a vital role in receiving and processing donations at our thrift store location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with the daily operations of our donation center. As a Donations Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting donors with the removal of donated items, and ensuring that all donations are properly sorted and processed.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the donation center and surrounding areas.
• Assist donors with the removal of donated items and provide receipts as needed.
• Sort and process donations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out.
• Secure and lock the donation center at the end of each shift.

• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
