Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donations Attendant to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective processing of donations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean up the area in and around the CCC trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Assist donors in the removal of donated items from their vehicles and provide receipts.
  • Separate and sort donated materials into the proper containers and stack them as instructed by the CCC supervisor.
  • Assist TSA drivers/PAs with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
  • Inform the CCC supervisor of needed items prior to running out.
  • Secure and lock the CCC trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
