Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recreation Aide to join our team at Riverside Health System. As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in planning, developing, and implementing activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for residents.
  • Coordinate with residents and departments to promote activities that enhance quality of life.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing and updating records, and completing necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain records of activity participation and on-site/off-site activities.
  • Ensure all programs are set up and started in accordance with the monthly calendar.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete tasks.
  • Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations with residents, guests, and team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in activities or recreation in a long-term care or special population setting preferred.
  • BLS/CPR/AED certification required within 30 days.
  • Valid driver's license required.
