Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Northshore is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating a variety of radiology equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Assist physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records
- Explain procedures to patients, reducing anxiety and promoting trust
- Deliver exceptional customer service in all aspects of the job
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of ACR/JCAHO requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
- Prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, preferred
- IEMA licensure or notice of compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation
- Candidate for ARRT(R) certification
- Current CPR Certification
