Job Description

As a Senior Coastal Engineer at Anchor QEA, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of coastal engineering projects, including coastal processes, shoreline erosion protection, maintenance dredging and beach nourishment, wetland protection and restoration, and engineering with nature and nature-based solutions concepts.

  • Develop and design coastal engineering solutions that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Lead project teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Manage client relationships and develop proposals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in relevant field (e.g., Coastal, Ocean, Civil or Environmental Engineering)
  • 8-15 years of experience in coastal engineering
  • Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic, and/or water quality numerical modeling
  • Understanding of engineering principles for design, cost estimating, and plan development
