**Job Summary**

We are seeking a senior coastal engineer to join our team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our west coast project teams, you will be responsible for leading coastal engineering, flood resiliency, and water resources projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and design projects involving coastal processes, shoreline erosion protection, maintenance dredging, and beach nourishment.
  • Lead engineering planning and design, including concept designs, alternative studies, basis of design requirements, construction drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Manage team and coordinate with client's project manager and/or technical staff.

**Requirements**

  • 8-15 years of experience with coastal engineering, including hydrodynamic and/or hydraulic numerical modeling experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain one within two years.
