Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support to our healthcare team at Valor Healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or certificate from an accredited program, certification in phlebotomy, and a minimum of two years of experience in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care, physical examinations, and ancillary tests
  • Schedule clinic appointments and maintain the Electronic Wait List
  • Collect lab specimens and operate diagnostic equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and support the clinic's outreach events
  • Meet compliance requirements and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited program
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related setting
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
