Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Strategist to join our dynamic team at FB Acquisition LLC.

About the Role

The Senior Procurement Strategist will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day sourcing and procurement operations, including vendor management and risk management. This role will support new product developments sourcing activities and daily tasks and transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure the best sourcing practices are employed to support the company's financial, service, and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and minimizing financial losses.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Drive cost reduction activities across the organization, identifying opportunities for process improvements and supplier optimization.
Accountabilities:
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Packaging Engineering, Product Development, and Finance, to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Supplier Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier strategy, including risk assessment, vendor evaluation, and negotiation.
  • New Product Innovations: Support new product innovations by collaborating with Product Development, Packaging Engineering, and Supply Planning to ensure timely and cost-effective launches.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or operations management, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively, prioritize and escalate risks as needed, and proficiency with timeline tracking and dashboard reporting.
