Job Description

Overview

Sentinel Asset Management LLC is seeking a skilled Financial Planner - Retirement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with clients, educating them on financial stability and freedom, and providing personalized financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with high-quality prospects to understand their financial needs and convert them into high-quality clients.
  • Conduct seminars to introduce our services and educate clients about suitable service options.
  • Provide personalized financial solutions and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Dedicate a significant portion of working time to sales activities, including prospecting, client meetings, and relationship building.
  • Lead a team consisting of a Paraplanner who manages paperwork, asset transfers, and assists with plan preparation.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to company policy.

Requirements

  • Active State Life and Health License is a must.
  • Possession of a Series 65 or 66 (or willingness to take and pass the Series 65 test within 30 days of employment).
  • Prior experience in wealth or financial planning, advising, or life and/or annuity sales.
  • Strong ability to identify and engage with high-quality prospects with investable assets ranging from $500k to $12M+.
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets and earn substantial income.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings for seminars and client meetings.
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to lead seminars.
  • Embrace the value of a team environment and display respect, compromise, and attentiveness to teammates and clients.
