  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and resolve issues with commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, cooking appliances, and other related systems.
  • Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect equipment and components to maintain safety standards and optimal performance.
  • Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers and branch staff regarding repair status, ensuring schedules are met and delays are communicated promptly.
  • Service Ticket Management: Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures and protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and track truck stock, ensuring necessary parts are available and properly stocked in the service vehicle.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
  • Mentorship and Teamwork: Serve as a positive example and mentor for less experienced technicians, promoting the company's values and culture.
  • Compliance and Safety: Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety practices and protocols.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Technical Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field, with strong technical skills in commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment repair.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting service data.
  • Industry Tools: Possession of standard industry hand tools.
  • Travel and Availability: Ability to travel extensively within the region for service calls and willingness to work some nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Certification: Universal EPA certification is preferred but not required.
