Overview: The Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering rehabilitation and residential care for individuals with various neurological conditions, including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and Spinal Cord Injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify physical limitations and develop a thorough understanding of the patient's conditions.
  • Create personalized treatment plans that set clear goals, interventions, and anticipated outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
  • Administer treatments and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
  • Participate in team meetings related to patient care as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with applicable regulations using an electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with the capability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands associated with patient care.
  • Demonstrated empathy and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients.
