Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Data and Information Analytics department. As the Director of Data Insights and Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for driving the strategic use of data analytics to inform business decisions and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data analytics solutions.
- Maintain technical leadership and oversight of data engineering and analytics capabilities.
- Mentor and guide team members to ensure the development of data engineering and analytics skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data-driven solutions and analytics, including 3 years of management experience.
- Experience with human-centered design research and methodologies.
- Expertise in data presentation and analysis software, such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Experience with data management platforms, including MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft platform expertise.
- Master's degree in Information Science or Business.
- Experience with internet/intranet development.
