Laborer - Construction Specialist

Job Summary:

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing physical labor tasks on construction sites, including commercial, industrial, and heavy civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by supervisor
  • Work with crew members to operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, and other equipment
  • Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing debris, and digging trenches
  • Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment

Requirements:

  • 1 year of verifiable experience preferred
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
  • Requires ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Requires good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
