CDL-A Local Truck Driver Job Description

Idaho Milk Transport is seeking highly motivated Class-A CDL drivers to transport bulk food grade liquid to our customers within the 11 Western and Midwest states.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport bulk food grade liquid to customers within designated areas
  • Operate Class-A CDL vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Meet delivery deadlines and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Benefits:
  • Average annual salary of $65k-$70k
  • $25/hr with OT after 40 hours
  • Average weekly gross of $1,300 with opportunities for additional shifts
  • Local drivers are home daily
  • 10-12 hour shifts with rotating schedules and every other weekend off
Requirements:
  • CDL-A license
  • 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience
  • Tank endorsement (or ability to obtain)
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement
  • A safe driving record

Our fleet consists of automatic Volvo trucks, and we provide paid training and orientation.
