Staff Nurse

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans that address these needs and promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and interventions to address patient needs, and evaluate their effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes. Make adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and promote a culture of safety and respect.
- Leadership and Education: Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring and educating colleagues, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience: Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates progression to provide holistic patient care and the ability to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus. Proficient computer skills, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems. Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and interpersonal skills.
