About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our team at Boys & Girls Clubs. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of programs that cater to the diverse needs of young people.

Job Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Plan, develop, evaluate, and oversee the implementation of arts, education, social recreation, health, and physical education programs, activities, and services.
  • Strategic Planning: Ensure the evaluation of Club programs on a continual basis and ensure programs/activities respond to member needs.
  • Resource Management: Control program and activity expenditures within approved budget.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written; ability to supervise and motivate staff; ability to deal effectively with members including discipline problems; working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management.
