**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing and analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage laboratory testing, phlebotomy, and specimen processing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with ordering, scheduling, and billing functions.
- Ensure proper workflow management and efficiency in the laboratory.
- Serve as a resource for questions from hospital and clinic staff regarding specimen handling and processing.
**Requirements:**
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
- Good problem-solving skills and knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to meet time-sensitive customer requests.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements (if travel is required).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in a medical-related field or applied science degree.
- Certification in phlebotomy and one year of hospital experience (ASCP certification preferred).
